Roles & Areas of Interest
Applicants can choose their primary areas of interest on the registration form. Discover what each role entails:
Soft Robotics
Electronics, IoT & Hobby Projects
Microcontroller programming (ESP32, Arduino), sensor interfacing (IR, ultrasonic, IMU), motor drivers, wireless bot telemetry, line followers, maze solvers, and creative hobby projects.
Combat Robotics
Mechanical Components, Machining & Assembly
Design and fabrication of high-impact bots for Robowars, Robosoccer, Sumo, and Race. Machining high-durability chassis, custom weapon mechanisms, drivetrains, and robust metal assembly.
3D Designing
CAD Modeling & Rapid Prototyping
Parametric 3D modeling using Autodesk Fusion 360 & SolidWorks. Conceptualizing custom chassis geometry, kinematic stress simulation, slicing, and 3D printing components.
Graphics Designing / Editing
Visual Identity, Posters & Video Production
Creating high-impact event posters, identity mockups, social creatives, promotional reels, after-movie edits, and branding graphics for official workshops and competitions.
Social Media
Community Engagement & Digital Outreach
Managing official club channels (@roboticsclub_nitte), authoring engaging event announcements, driving follower growth, live tournament coverage, and student outreach.
Rocketry / Drones / Boats
Aero Dynamics, UAVs & Marine Robotics
Designing quadcopters and fixed-wing drones, solid-propulsion model rocketry, autonomous RC boat hulls, and aerodynamic payload testing.
⚡ Direct Interview Process
1-on-1 Domain Interview
Candidates will directly interact with our club leads and core team for a focused technical and domain discussion. Register before 11:30 PM, Sept 5 and pick your interview slot starting from Sept 7.
Domain Passion & Practical Thinking
We evaluate your curiosity to learn, hands-on problem-solving attitude, basic domain fundamentals, past projects/work, and commitment to representing the club in national robotics tournaments.
Club Membership Fee
Registration and interviews are completely free. A nominal membership fee of ₹350 is applicable exclusively for candidates who are officially selected to join the club.

When filling out the official registration form, make sure to have the following ready:
- ✓ Eligibility: Must be a currently enrolled 2nd or 3rd year NMAMIT student (all branches eligible).
- ✓ College Email ID & USN: Official institute credentials for correspondence and verification.
- ✓ Resume / CV (PDF): Upload your updated resume highlighting your skills, academic background, and any past projects.
- ✓ Areas of Interest: Choose from Soft Robotics, Combat, 3D Design, Graphics, Social Media, or Rocketry/Drones.
- ✓ Statement of Purpose: Briefly explain why you want to join Robotics Club Nitte.
- ✓ Optional Portfolio: Upload any past designs, CAD models, code snippets, edits, or projects (Google Drive link).
